As our company logo states, SO.TEC is an engineering company specialized in the provision of applied systems and technologies for the purification of atmospheric emissions from various production processes.

In particular, we deal with the treatment of:

fumes from cold and hot processes containing oil mists, plasticizers and with the presence of dust;
dusts of different nature and origin, including those with explosion hazard (Atex).

To achieve this goal, we employ specialized technicians and the most modern and up-to-date design tools including sophisticated 3D drawing programs. Our extended experience, combined with modern computer tools, allow us to meet specific customer needs by supplying turnkey plants in Italy and abroad that are reliable and of known quality.

How we design an extraction system

Consulting and configuration study are the two preliminary stages of the actual design of an extraction systems.
Since they are the foundation on which subsequent processes are based, they should be approached with attention to detail and precision according to the following steps:

assessment of the customer's issues;
selection of the most suitable system/filter;
FEM calculations and analysis;
air flow calculations;

Finally, after the stages of consulting, calculations and analysis, the plant is designed through:

2D assembly drawings;
3D assembly drawings and details;
drawings of the structural details;
technical specifications;
data entry;
solid modelling of special components;

Construction of an industrial filtration plant

For the production of our oil mist extraction and filtration systems and related ancillary components, we cooperate with metalworking companies with decades of experience who possess the necessary quality, material and welding certifications.

In particular, the structural welds of SO.TEC's systems (Super-compact systems or MINI-MAX series) are subjected to rigorous testing:liquid penetrant tests, visual dimensional and magnetoscopic tests are carried out to ensure a high quality and efficient product. Our filters are manufactured at our trusted carpentries, assembled directly at our facility and delivered to the customer to proceed with installation.

For the production of the filters that make up our dedusting systems, we have been cooperating for over 25 years with Nederman, a leading Swedish multinational in the field worldwide. As official distributors for Italy, we import MEP and MCP series dust collectors; according to the specific needs of the customer, these dust collectors are then equipped with accessories and other plant components at our facility and delivered to the customer's site.

For the realization of the electrical components of our filtration and extraction systems (control panels, programming inverters, PLC programming software, connections, automations, etc.),we work in synergy with highly qualified companies to configure smart systems interlinked with information systems.

Installation

Since the company's founding, SO.TEC has always employed highly qualified personnel with decades of sector-specific experience for the assembly and installation of its dust extraction and filtration systems.

The assembly and installation staff is therefore capable of installing the entire extraction system (including the plant, the piping and the various accessories) in a workmanlike manner.

SO.TEC always renders members of its own internal staff available for supervising the work of the assembly team during the system's installation at the customer's facility.

SO.TEC provides its customers with "turnkey" dedusting systems, both in Italy and abroad.
